Saturday Competitions

The Uncommon Man Award:

If you have done ALL the work with your own hands (mechanical, electrical, body & paint) on your British Classic you can register to be a participant in the Uncommon Man Award. Drop by the BMCNE tent before 11:00 Saturday and pick up an application. Judging of cars registered for this award will be between 11:00am and 12:30pm.

A Very British Hat Competition: Anyone can participate!

An annual favorite, the award for the best ladies hat will be a little different this year. Judging will be at the BMCNE tent at 12:00.  Feel free to wear your finest, or most unusual creations all day if you like but be sure to appear for judging.  The winner will be announced during the awards ceremony.

Storyboard Competition:

A storyboard tells everyone the history of your British car. Storyboards can be a poster, a binder or however you choose to present.  Judges will be on the field all morning selecting the winner.

Diamond in the Rough:

New this year, the Diamond In The Rough Award. If you can drive or tow it onto the show field you can compete!  Primer, rust, cracked windscreen, mismatched paint  it doesn’t matter,  it’s your pride and joy.  Bring it and show it, you just may go home with a prize.

People’s Choice Award:

Spectators are given the opportunity to vote for their favorite British Motorcar. Ballots are available upon entry so visitors can pick their favorites from the show field as they wander the rows of cars. Ballots must be received by 1:00 pm and winners will be announced during the Special Awards Presentation at 1:30pm.

Special Triumph Award:

Showcased as this year’s featured marque, a special award will be given to an exceptional Triumph. All years will be eligible.

This year’s Michael T. Byrnes Memorial Trophy will be awarded to the motorcar voted Best in Show as decided by registered entrants.
